There have been so many updates since the last post, I can't think where to begin :-) But it shall all be put down in words after a few days.
Meanwhile, a fellow football obsessive and I have begun writing at http://worthafight.blogspot.com. Mostly it's football we agonise about, interspersed with some other thoughts. Check it out.

Welcome back! I'm still in Melbourne and, following your tip off when we were last in touch, I went to the tennis. I'd never been to a grand slam event before an even managed to get some reasonable pictures (I now understand how people get tennis elbow).
Wow. That must've been awesome! I'm sure you're hooked to tennis for life now :-)
It certainly was awesome. The first Bondarenko/Zheng set went to a tie break that went on for ever. The photos are on facebook and I've temporarily set the pemissions to 'everybody' so you can see them if you'd like. If so, go to my blog, find the link to the FBDD facebook group (for which I am the creator) and then you should see the Melbourne album in my facebook profile. Enjoy because the photos wouldn't have been taken if it wasn't for you.
